Blueberries like very acidic soil, so rhodies or azaleas would grow well with them.

That said, I use strawberries as a ground cover around my blueberries and so far it's working, though I need to make sure the strawberries don't overrun my blueberries, which do not compete well due to their shallow root system.

Thanks! Yes, I've created a nice acidic home for the blueberries, and am hoping if I keep the strawberry row at least 18" from the blueberries, I can keep each in their own pH zone.
