Somebody is letting me "borrow" their wireless signal from my kitchen today...but I'll have my own (secured) cable high speed sometime tomorrow.

Ribbit/rabbit, Annie got sick a couple of hours into the trip, even though we gave her a pill. We didn't notice she'd barfed all over the arm rest in the pickup...I wondered what Mr. H had all over the elbow of his sweatshirt when we stopped at McD's for a quick breakfast *snicker*. Hah! It didn't even take away our appetites, we're getting so used to dog barf.

Even funnier, the next day (colder than H!) the Mr. took the pups on a potty break, stepped out of the truck and promptly disappeared from my sight. He stepped into some deep mud, slid down an embankment on his rear end...he and the dogs were a muddy mess, as was the pickup when they got back in. Nobody was hurt, though.

Boy dog had an odd growth on his ear, so had surgery today. Girl dog has got so fat she hurts herself just trying to jump in or out of the chair she sleeps on. She has to go for blood tests Friday to see if it's her thyroid. She's such a sweet baby (14 months old) it breaks my heart to see her limping.

I missed all of you guys, too!
