| I've got a 4x4 raised bed. I have three tomato plants in an east-west row on the north side of the bed. They will be supported by a vertical trellis. Would it work to plant a watermelon on the south side of the same bed? I'm thinking sugar baby or bush sugar baby, but I'm open if something else is better. The soil has a lot of compost mixed in, as well as some steer manure.
Thanks in advance, --TWH |

| Shouldn't be a problem as long as your south trellis is less than ~8'. Dan |
