thanks for the comments, my tomatoes plants are producing a lot of fruit and also the cucumbers. The side shoots on broccoli are also suprising me!

Good job! I esp. like the cardboard.

If it were me, I would also remove (cover) the grass around the beds for 1-3ft. It WILL spread.

Don't forget you veggies will send roots outside the bed, some for a dia. of 8-10ft. I don't like things that take nutrients and water from my planted crops esp. when they grow right up to the bed frame. It also takes care of mowing there.
