| thanks for the comments, my tomatoes plants are producing a lot of fruit and also the cucumbers. The side shoots on broccoli are also suprising me! |

| Good job! I esp. like the cardboard. If it were me, I would also remove (cover) the grass around the beds for 1-3ft. It WILL spread. Don't forget you veggies will send roots outside the bed, some for a dia. of 8-10ft. I don't like things that take nutrients and water from my planted crops esp. when they grow right up to the bed frame. It also takes care of mowing there. Gumby thinks grass is a perennial weed that invades his vegetable garden. |
