| i am making 3 4 by 4 boxes. Was going too use redwood, but it is $44.00 dollars plus for 2 by 12 by 12. Pine or fir is less than half the price. Is redwood worth the price? This is getting expensive, does it last that much longer? thx |

| I used hemlock, which is very rot resistant. 2"x10"x8' boards were $8 each. |
