Adding my first time SFG to the list

Kudos to everyone who posted their new SFGs today. They all look great.

I thought I'd add mine to the list with "before" and "after" pictures. Actually there's a snow storm picture in between but there's really nothing to see there because it's all white.

I recycled the slab for the greenhouse in the 2nd shot.

The direct sow plantings are about a month old with radishes, turnips, peas, beets, etc. Why do the plants I want grow slower than the dandelions in the lawn?

Note that the substantial slope required the use of 2x12"s that had to be dug into the yard...and yes that is an "SFG" pond with water lilies and comets.

I do need to add some more trellises on the SFGs closest to the fence, though.

Cheers,
Steve

Holy cow - I am green with envy. The beds look great and that greenhouse is divine. I would love to see a close up of the raised bed pond!

It's gorgeous! Please keep us updated on how the greenhouse works for you. Hubby is on the hook to get me one in the next 5 years.

Wow! What a great before & after transformation! How much time lapsed between the two pics?

Growing up in the DC area & now living out west, I miss the "Colonial" style houses... Thanks for providing a nostalgic moment. ;-)
