Tomato Vine Support

I have Deer in the woods behind my house so my SFG's are going to have to have a protective barrier around them. I cannot build a vine support on one of the exterior walls of the SFG like Mel suggests in the book since I will have protective barrier along the exterior.

My tomato plants will need to be in the inner grids of the SFG. I am thinking just to place traditional tomato plant supports like these below on the interior grids ?

I wouldn't recomend it, those are very flimsy and not nearly tall enough You could try a chicken wire fence to keep out the deer and then you could grow tomatoes in the back square.

Those maybe will support peppers, no way tomatoes. This issue with barrier around the exterior is this will cut you off from picking, weeding, tending. My BIL in SE MI uses concrete reinforcing wire for his toms.

DUH! Just put the vine support on a back square. How simple LOL.You can tell I am new :-)
