I'm in FL and we're definitely above 80 already. My peas are not really tall, but new pods are coming each day. I even got a late planting start on them and they are doing well. Maybe not as prolific as if it were cooler weather, but I'm still getting a decent amount of peas. :) Actually, I think I'm getting more than when I planted over winter.

I figured that I missed the bus on peas since I just got my SFG beds completed, but I'm going to follow some advice that I got here to place the terrace 1' from the edge of the box, perhaps in the shade of the bigger vining crops it can have a bit of a go. if not I'll be ready for late summer early fall?

I'm in GA, and we are hitting low 80s regularly. My peas are just now beginning to set fruit. I have several pods. The longest is about 2 inches long. The plants are about 3 feet tall. I was about to pull them a couple of weeks ago, and I thought I'd just leave them and see what happened as a learning experience and before I knew it - pods!

My mom lost a bunch of plants last year to a heavy rain that washed them out. She just replanted and the only time they really suffered in any way was when it was really hot. say consistantly 90+.
