Trimming back Tomato Branches

My SFG is really raging and I have planted tomatos 1 per sq/f. I know it will get really cramped as it is already getting this way. My main concern is some of the branches on my plants are beginning to shade out my parsley and basil and I was wondering if I could pinch them back. I know you can totally remove the lower branches and I have done this but there are some that are just a little higher that I think will cause problems. The plants are beautiful and have a lot of foliage because they get 100% full sun so I think there is plenty of leaves to shade the fruit and aid in photosynthesis. What do you think about me pinching a few of the leaves or the branch back about 6 inches?
