Is 2' away from termite treatment enough?

I have very little usable yard because of a steep hill. I have plenty of terraces, but they have pressure treated lumber (about 10 years old - are they safe for veggies now?).

I have a raised flower bed at the corner of the house which is approximately 4'x 4'. Yesterday, I dug out the 2' farthest from house about 6-8" deep, put in a divider (that flexible black plastic edging sold at H.D.), and put in a mixture of potting soil & a bag of composted Moo-nure. My thought was to let my kids plant a few veggies in it.

Now the mom in me is having 2nd thoughts... the termite barrier was injected down into little holes just an inch or 2 from the walls. This veggie bed would be 2' away from that. Is that far enough to be safe? I know the pesticide is supposed to stay more or less in place to form a barrier to keep out the termites. Am I worrying too much or did I do all that work for nothing?

I've got my veggies ready to go in... help!
