| I am planting a strawberry bed this year and trying to decide which variety or varieties I would like to grow. Any suggestions on winners/losers is appreciated but I was wondering do most people stick with 1 variety or plant 2 or more types together. I was thinking maybe some june bearing and some everbearing. Any thoughts?

| I suggest picking a few different varieties. How big is the bed going to be? You could do one variety in each 1x4 row or whatever the measurement is. Why stick with just one when you can have a plethora of berry varieties? You can try a bunch of varieties and then pick out your favorite ones and replace the ones you don't like as much with the runners of the better variety. You can do whatever you want to do, but those are some things I would try. |
