Lawn Spray Detrimental to Garden?

My husband has our lawn sprayed spring and fall and I have them steer clear of our SF gardens. I have used my own compost for years and have really tried hard, I just don't have much luck with anything. A friend of mine (A farmers daughter) checked it out and said my plants just didn't look "happy". She later told me she thinks it's due to the lawn spraying. (I think she said something about "drip or drift?") Anyone have any experience with this? Maybe I need them to stay even further away?

We don't have enough information.

What kind of soil are you using? What zone or region are you in, what is your watering schedule, heat or sun that is available, what is being sprayed, what are you growing, etc. More info can help determine what might be happening.

Do you useany kind of natural or organic fertilizers (fish emulsion, etc.)? If not, maybe start with that and see if they perk up!
