What types of bagged compost do you have available?

I was just curious about what types of bagged compost are available around the country. We spent a lot of time driving around to retailers here in central NJ, and had a very hard time getting a variety of composts for our Mel's Mix.

Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, and K-Mart had nothing but various brands of humus/poultry manure. Each store only carried one type, so I picked up bags here and there. Several of the nurseries I called sold no compost at all, which I thought was very odd.

Only one place had mushroom compost, so I stocked up on that. Then, after giving up the search, I stopped at a fruit market less than a mile down the road and found that they had pallets and pallets of bagged compost - cow manure and two types of blended leaf/grass clipping compost.

I rounded out these with our own "black gold" made from yard waste and kitchen scraps. Hopefully there is enough of a variety, but we had to make due with what was available.

So, what type of compost went into your Mel's Mix?
