I've a wonderful Roma Grape tomato vine growing in my SFG. Great liitle munching tomato! It's tied to twine for support. Last week I noticed it had stopped it's rapid push upwards (I was tieing it everyday!). Now I see that the tip of it has been knocked or pinched out (I've been pinching out side shoots). Hubby was hanging a suncatcher above the raised bed and may have knocked the tip-top out of the vine, or I may have accidentially pinched off the top. Ouch.

My Question: Will the vine send up a new leading shoot and continue to grow upwards, or have I cut my harvest short on that particular vine?
