Tomatoes outgrowing trellis

I have my tomatoes growing like a vine on an 8 foot trellis. It's only the middle of June and they have grown past the top of the trellis. Now what? Do I just bring them back down the trellis for the rest of the season?

Wow, that is bi.

Yes, let them go back down. I quit bothering to weave at that point, just let them droop and bury them as they hit the ground to root and go back up again, but my trellis is only about 5'...
