What about putting up a poultry wire fence around your SFG? The peas could trellis up the wire fence.

I've seen poultry wire around SFGs, but do I put it just around the pea plants, and how deep down - or all around the box area. Also how tall should it be?

Your seed packet should give height of vines. Most seed packets give time spacing to extend harvest. Most people wouldn't put wire around the whole box, esp if there are other crops that you need to get to.

I used a frame with cattle panel fencing & trained them to climb that. I have a picture on my blog. They did very well. Have you checked the official SFG forum (http://squarefoot.creatingforum.com/forum.htm)? I don't have trouble with bunnies, but several people there have posted about it.

I think two feet of wire should keep the bunnies out. How tall are your bunnies? LOL
