I am going on vacation at the end of the week for three weeks. I put my cantaloupe's in the ground a little late this year and none have ripened just yet -- in fact only a couple have recently been pollinated. Does anyone have a guess of how long it takes a cantaloupe to ripen from pollination? I want to know if I'll be able to eat these post vacation or if I should have someone take 'em off my hands before they smash on the ground. Thanks!
