I totally need to do that with my yellow squash next year. Never grew it before and expected it to behave like the zucchini I grew last year. The yellow squash grew all over the zucchini, eggplant and peppers (which I planted way too close) What kind of post did you use or did you tie it to the fence? Picture is a bit dark right next to the vine so I can't really see.

It is tied to a metal T-post.
I think it is a 5 foot tall post.

I just saw your picture on Pintrest , I know this was a few years ago but it looks very nice. How did it turn out, did you get more squash off of it? I am going to grow my squash in a small Aquaponics system this year along with Egg Plant and Peppers, Might also add a patio tomato plant. But I am definitely going to stake the Squash up this year. I tried growing them in inverted tomato cages last year but I think this will be better thanks for posting this.
