I don't know about in, but I used it a lot this winter to help stave off the frost. It worked like a champ for that, but it did put lots of seeds in that I had to weed out later.

HEY!! i used/use it in my gardens to keep the moisture in, and it works great. but i was worried that it would dry out, so i had tabor (my son) mow it with the grass, and it works even better. ya know, by keeping the moisture in. and it does really well at decomposing also!! LOL i love that!! ummmmm.....we also added many worms in there!! LOL so it all works out!! ~Medo
P.S. cons???? so far, i haven't found any, no weeds either!!
