| I usually just lurk & learn from what the rest of you post, and now I have a question for all of you.
The herbs in my kitchen garden got waaay to much rain this spring. (This year we had a normal amount of rainfall.) My basil is turning yellow! I'm wondering how to prevent the problem next year & had thought of building kind of a cover for them - sort of like the one Mel makes in the book with PVC pipe & clear plastic. I could remove it when it wasn't needed. Does this sound like a good idea, or just crazy? (be nice! ;)

| sure, covering would cut down on the water, but you should make sure it was overwatering and not too hot, bugs, old plants, or disease. |
