We needed sweet potatoes for supper tonight and I think at 1lb 7oz, these two filled the bill.

What variety are those and when did you plant them ?

Thanks all, namfon, they are Georgia Jets and I planted them around May 1st.

Awwww, Man! I went digging under mine today and only found something the size of a pencil in the whole bed. I'm thinking it may be that it doesn't get full sun so the tubers won't develop nicely. Yours are fantastic looking, John!

Those look like wonderful sweet potatoes! So far it seems like all of mine were attacked by the sweet potato weevil...

Lucky duck... They look delicious!

I planted my vines in June (a bit late, yes), and pulled the biggest one on 8/31. Here's what my biggest sp "bush" grew:
