What Seeds New Gardeners Must Have

Hey all:

I'm interested in a list of "must have seeds" for new gardeners. I know some of you have already responded on another list, but can we do this again? That way, the title is easy to search for and we get to make it a serious go.

My alternate motive here is that I want to make four shoe boxes for relatives in other states with seeds for a first garden, layouts, and a copy of SFG (of course).
