SFG Possible in Smaller Plots?

Hello all! Quick question.

Most information states a 4'x4' is ideal for a beginner to utilize the SFG techniques. I will be using this for sure come the summer months. However, my question is if I wanted to apply SFG techniques in the greenhouse is it possible?

For example a 1'x4' strip. Can you plant successfully that way? Going by the rules you could plant one tomato plant per "square" right?
