| Hello all! Quick question. Most information states a 4'x4' is ideal for a beginner to utilize the SFG techniques. I will be using this for sure come the summer months. However, my question is if I wanted to apply SFG techniques in the greenhouse is it possible? For example a 1'x4' strip. Can you plant successfully that way? Going by the rules you could plant one tomato plant per "square" right? Thank you. |

| Yes you can use any size bed. Yes you can plant 1 tomato per square if it is an indeterminate and you prune the suckers. Some will use 2 squares per tomato. It seems to depend on the amount of sunlight you get and whether you usually have problems with diseases. |
