I had not done any trading for several years but have enjoyed it this year, with the exception of having people email me for a trade or for plants for postage, then I reply and never hear from them again. It's frustrating and a total waste of time. I have not had anyone default on a set up trade and don't send plants for postage without getting the postage first. I think the Rate and Review Forum has the potential to be wonderful, but many others like me may not know about it and I would hate for anyone not to trade with me because of a lack of feedback. I'm actually an awesome trader. :)

I'm sorry but the first two that responded got the plants and I don't have any more. I do have seed for this variety of coneflower. I would ask maybe that you reconsider rating the host/hostess, if it was a negative. I think that might discourage anyone being a host/hostess...not wanting to risk members maybe not being pleased with what they received. As far as a hostess holding to their schedule, life does indeed happen...members do not follow the rules properly, etc. I for one think it would be such a great undertaking that I would never want the responsibility/work involved in pulling one off, particularly on schedule. I think maybe host/hostesses might find out the hard way just how much is involved keeping track of everyone, GW name, real name, addy, and what they sent, and what they wanted. I was in a robin once, and was amazed at the variety of seeds...with very very little info on them. Being on dial-up, I searched a lot of them, and it took a very long time, but I managed to swap quite a few and get it back flying in a day or so. If I was you, I'd just steer clear of those in the future that might be hosted by the same hostess that did not pull things off very well. It might be likely that they won't host another one anyway. Okay. I put in her name in the top search box, but I got every trade and other message out there for her on GW. So maybe she doesn't have a rate and review yet. I just wish they had it like the old forum where the rate & review itself had a search box. I put other people's names in there, along with "rate & review," and I still got all kinds of other posts, messages, etc. Thanks for your help, though. I figured I was doing something wrong. I actually have a link on my Ideabook for my rate & review page. Makes it easier for people to find me. Just click and you're there to review me. :)
