One in the seed and plant exchange would be nice. That's where it's going to get used most.

Sue, I think I am confused. I received a E-mail from you today saying I was getting the Great Lakes Box #2 Lucky Charm. I received a Robin but its a Bubble envelope but there's no gift inside just seeds. I bought several gift today thinking this was the one to put them in but its not the Lucky Charm one. But Hey its fun I found several things I wanted. I am about 4 or 5 names down the list for this Lucky Charm Robin. I dont know which one I just received But it was fun. It just said Round Robin Inside. Came from D. Morey. Thanks Kayems

My iPad suddenly switched yesterday to the new format for no discernible reason. Cannot switch it back. I've tried everything. I just wrote an email to Houzz about it. I asked how I could switch my view back to old format. I also mentioned how there are hundreds of additional posts on the new "Kitchens Discussions" that are from other forums and I don't want to wade through them, and also mentioned the busy and annoying layout. I received this response: "We welcome and appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to the corresponding teams. Thank you"

Repeated shilling by thinly veiled accounts recommending products will eventually get those shill accounts removed if you keep flogging them every. single. time. Barcelona/Manhattan Design’s, and quite a few others, finally got that message. Yes, it’s a bit of work, because they are like a Medusa and cutting one snake just regrows another. If you Follow a shill or a Spammer, that makes a great wake up game over coffee. It’s all there in your feed to find and sink their battleships. Houzz won’t delete their account though, because it plumps their statistics. If a Pro has a link to their blog, or posts their blog in a post or a reply, and not a genuine response, that is most certainly SPAM. And worth tagging as such. The worst are the newbie Pros who just search for posts talking about teapot cozies and pull all of those up to post an enthusiast generic link to their custom teapot cozy site. Then disappear forever. Pros who come into a discussion about teapot cozies, and explain how a custom one is measured and made, and explain design considerations of teapot cozies, then show pictures of how they create those teapot cozies, and some spectacular custom ones they have done, aren’t spamming. They aren’t spamming even if the discussion isn’t about custom teapot cozies, but off the shelf ones, and the poster is frustrated by the choices in off the shelf models. Illustrating and educating a discussion point with your work is a great way to communicate a point. Barging in and suggesting that you have the solution to their problem if only they’d buy their product, or use their discount code to buy a product, or write them a review for being nice to them on the forum, that is soliciting, and unethical.

It really would be helpful....I can honestly say that trades have been better this year and I believe that may very well have something to do with it.

Having it posted on the Seed Exchange forum might even deter some "frauds".

I vote the R&R link be put right on the Seed Exchange page on the Related Forums line. If we can't have a feedback system ala *Bay, this is the next best thing to knowing who has come through and who hasn't, IMHO.

Word. It would be ideal to have a link on the seed exchange and plant exchange pages. Otherwise, how are traders supposed to discover it?

I'm wondering why this has not been addressed yet? There isn't any way to access these feedback forums except through the main list of GW pages.

No, they have in the past replied here sometimes, and have implemented many suggestions in time.

Still just waiting patiently.

Sue...who is a lot less patient about a lot of 'other' non GW things

Hi, I completely agree. I didn't know of the R&R until the hostess of our roundrobin told me it existed. I have completed quite a few successful trades but as yet only have 2 ratings. Many people just don't know it exists. It would be nice if there was a link available at the bottom of each of the exchange forums.

Yes, Yes, I wish this would have been there so I could check it out before making my first trade ever! I don't know now if I will ever trade again, feeling a little frustrated and upset!

Please know that there are many great, generous traders out there. I just had my first negative experience after many successful ones. Most are very nice and helpful people. Stick with it and give it another go.

The link is a great idea! I found it by accident,I am one of those that check them all out eventually but have talked to many people who just dont know it is there! If I trade with someone that is new I make sure I suggest it and usually provide the link to it!The link being readily available would be great!PLEASE consider the link! I think it's a great idea. Too many people don't even know this site exists. I think it's a wonderful way for newbies to show others that they are good traders by getting good reviews. What do we have to do to get the "unknown readers from above" to move on this?

It is much needed as most newbies do not check out all the forums and do not know about the Rate and Review nor how to use it.

Yes, Please. Having the Rate and Review Forum has helped with the quality of trades here at Gardenweb. Having a link on the exchange pages would help even more.

Do u know there is a link to the R&R on the main Exchange page? All you have to do is scroll down and there it is.

The R&R is set-up for both seed and plant trades, it would make it confusing to have one on each thread.
