What I think... 1) I never noticed it until you said something, guess I assumed it was some kind of ad. 2) requires a lot more clicking. 3) leaves the page (right-click "open in new window" disabled.) 4) the writing is so small I can barely see it, and even after I noticed it, it's so small I didn't realize at first that it's actually a bunch of different links. Maybe if they were in list form it would be visually easier to use. 5) If there is a way to access my clippings (without making a bookmark) without first entering a forum, and then a thread, I'm the idiot who can't figure it out. 6) It's not the function I want. Unless I remember the date of the last comment on each thread, I don't know if something new has been said without opening each thread. 7) It's not the function I want #2. I want to easily find entire threads, not something said by an individual. 8) Ideally, I would like the option to receive an email notifying me of a new post in regard to each thread. 9) The page is clunky to look at/use, displaying each entire result instead of a list. These are the basics of how modern forums function, many other details I didn't even mention.

I'm not much of a tv series watcher like I used to be. Our son tells us that we should watch The Americans, because it is very (scarily) realistic in how other hostile countries infiltrate here. Maybe. I do enjoy Big Bang Theory and am looking forward to it's spin-off, Young Sheldon. And, I'm anxiously awaiting the next season of Designated Survivor, which I love and do watch every week. Other than that, I don't watch much tv these days, except for the morning and evening news, and some HGTV (mainly Property Brothers and Fixer Upper). Right now, DH and I and rewatching the tv miniseries, John Adams, which we own. It is so incredibly well-done . . . just fantastic!

I won't pay for tv channels beyond our cable because I just don't watch enough so all my tv is network. I watch Star Trek Discovery which I really like and still watching Big Bang Theory (I think it restarts either tonight or next week). I'm going to check out Unforgotten on PBS, it sounds interesting. And I'm still watching NCIS but got tired ofBull. I tried The Enemy from Within but didn't last beyond the first show. This is going to sound petty and critical but the lead female on The Enemy from Within was way too anorexic looking for me but perhaps that's changed. I've never had a reaction like that to a character.

I too sort of liked Virgin River. Formulaic but not too bad, at least the woman doctor isn't insipid. I have watched the Kominsky Method both season twice. There is a poignancy there that speaks to me. Watched "Gentification" this weekend and loved it. It's more than half in Spanish with subtitles but takes place in the US/Los Angeles Boyle neighborhood. That didn't bother me. I found its message about struggling as an artist/creator and trying to keep neighborhood traditions alive in changing economic times very relatable even for me in a small midwestern town. A tad stereotypical, but what TV isn't a tad stereotypical. Pick your poison. Bear in mind this is just my .02, but I loathe "Mrs. Maisel" let me count the ways. Sophomoric is one that comes to mind. Great eye candy but oh so Disneyfied do don't call it ground breaking. And as a Jew, I find it a terribly insulting lame self-parody, and that's being kind. No reflection on the talent in the show though. My grandkids turned me on to "Stranger Things." So far so good but I'm not very far into it. For sci fi fans mostly though. I gravitate towards escapist things with a strong dose of humor but I'm always down for a little genuine pathos, but not ones that make me gag at their pretensions.
