We are suppose to get rain later today into Friday and then the cold temps will be coming back again with snow next week. We are happy to have temps get into the 40's even if it is for a few days. dick: No other program for photos is open. Thank you though for the suggestion. The photo icon when clicked immediately goes to my photo library on my computer where I choose which photo to load. Always has done this. The pop-up only happens on Houzz/GW so I would assume the protocol somehow changed. I know it has to do with the application/x-httpd-php in the pop-up message so hopefully an answer will be found before I upgrade to Windows 10.

Here goes: OK it worked for me first try (a two toned phlox that I'm fond of). Perhaps it's fixed or maybe it was the luck of the draw. If I do have problems with Houzz' photo uploader, I'll just go back to using my ftp space that comes free with my email account. I used to do that a lot with the old garden web, which would only allow a single photo to be directly uploaded to a post. What bothers me more is that Houzz no longer allows you to use your own cover photo on your personal page. I don't want to use one of Houzz' generic stock photos; I want to use my own photo! Grrr! Fortunately I uploaded my own photo early on, while it was still allowed BUT I have a second elongated garden view that I had hoped to use alternately. It sure would be nice if Houzz would restore the "upload an image from your computer" function!
