Update Tuesday: 12:25 says it is fixed but Tuesday: 12:25 was yesterday. It is still not fixed Wednesday, midmorning their time. Empty cache and I just loose my login and login in again was very, very slow. They may still be working on it.

From Firefox, I was having to click the back button twice, sometimes thrice, to navigate, but not in IE 7. In IE, I was experiencing a momentary pause when I clicked the back button. The latest fix did not resolve my problems with Firefox, although I cleared cache and restarted. I noticed two interesting things from Firefox: Lots of transferring/connecting to URL activity when navigating to a page and double, sometimes triple, instances of the page in the Firefox recent pages dropdown upon initial page load. I did some testing and saw that the back button actually navigated through the duplicate page instances, making it appear to do nothing. This all made me think it had something to do with Gardenweb ads loading, so I installed Mozilla ad blocker just now. (I never installed it before because I wasn't getting annoying pop-ups or anything in vanilla Firefox.) Anyways, that did the trick, and my back button works perfectly now.

marti, are you using Firefox? There's a little message above the list of threads that says GW is working on it. I'm on a Mac using Safari. No problems.

Have you tried rebooting? Check for Windows Updates too. Another keyboard shortcut is to use the backspace key to go back, shift+backspace will go forward. Are you sure there's a page to go back to? If a link opened in a new window or tab, you won't be able to back up. Click the button to the right of the Forward button and it'll give you the recent pages history.
