New Today: Bottom-hugging banner ad.

I'm really hating it taking up a new chunk of my screen, and I can't turn it off or scroll away from it.

This ad is extremely obtrusive, and giving me a headache the way it flashes as I scroll down the page to read. There's not enough room left on the page to see what I'm responding to as I type.

And I don't understand the one-way street thing. You can get to ivillage from GW, but you can't get to GW from ivillage. There's some other no-traffic message board in the "home and garden" section there. GW is the most active gardening forum on the 'net. Why the disconnect?

This banner ad is why the gods invented Firefox.

Today it seems to be gone. Power to the people!!
