| need a meat and sausage forum because my husband loves meats but is told he has to watch additives that are in them and fat content. i think i would get good ideas from a forum like that. |

| If they don't get a MEAT Forum you should elect a MEAT Leader who would scour all the GW posts for those gardeners that have problems with deer (venison). Alot of the gardeners are starting to shoot the deer that eat their garden plants; they also shoot alot of other animals, but not meat animals. They shoot woodchucks, rabbitts, squirrils (I can't spell them), racoons, opossums, and other varmits. Your leader could contact these shooters and find out what they do with the venison and then report back to everyone with information on smoking, butchering, seasoning, preparing and storage. |
