 o
leucophyllum frutescens hardiness

I've had one of these for the past couple of years. It does not seem from what I've read that they are recommended for my area (albuquerque). Has anyone in this area had one survive in the long term (>5 years)? Is a cold winter going to kill them? I was going to plant a few more this spring as they are very drought tolerant/low maint., but not if I am going to have to replace them because of a bad winter. The past couple of winters have been pretty mild I would say.

According to the Desert Tropicals website, looks like it's hardy to 12 degrees.

Watch out for too much moisture in the cooler season.

Good Day ...
