Make My Own Chile Roaster Drum

I lived in Nogal, NM for many years, but born & raised in NJ. Am currently living in NJ and oh how I miss roasted green chilis!! I was wondering if anyone has successfully made their own chili roaster for a bbq grill?

If so, would you be willing to share your secret?

I don't blame you -- I'd miss the green chile too. Can you look for frozen green chili to buy online?

(I know this thread is a few months old)
