RE: Looking for Opuntia humifusa, Prickley Pear Cactus

Hi, I've got humifusas all over our property here in arkansas, and they're just getting the start of flower buds. Some of the ones grown in the shade are quite large, but the ones in open tend to get mowed occasionally. Don't mow them or you will have a thousand! Anyways, California is a very difficult state to ship plants into... your best bet is e-bay, go to home and garden then plants seeds and bulbs and search for opuntia. I've seen humifusa on there from a few different places, no more than 5 or 6 bucks if I remember right. I order tons of cacti from ebay and have always gotten great plants. Good luck!
