Red Yucca - Post Winter

I live in Northern Utah and have 3 Red Yuccas (Hesperaloe parviflora). They all receive full sun and have been in the ground for almost a year. They thrived last year but are looking pretty shabby after coming out of winter. We are still getting snow on and off but nothing that stays for longer than a day. I'm wondering how robust these plants are. Whether or not they usually make a full recovery after winter in an area that receives regular amounts of snow. Also, if there is anything I need to do to insure their recovery this spring.
