feeding acanthus/bear's breeches

Hello, new to this forum. I understand the acanthus is considered a drought tolerant plant. I divided 6 plants last spring that are sprouting up this spring. How does
xeriscape plants typically respond to water soluble fertilizer? Would I want to use a cactus food, or can anyone suggest the NPK numbers needed.

RE: feeding acanthus/bear's breeches

Acanthus is not a picky plant. Any regular commercial fertilizer is ok. Just follow the fertilizer's recommendations on treatment.
