All I see from the first two pics is a shrub with slender compound leaves and an opposite branching pattern. It could be many things, but my first guess would be Mexican Elder. The third pic, I can't really guess at.

You'll know the shrub's an Elder if it gets large umbels of tiny white flowers through the summer followed by elderberries with a bluish-white bloom. If the flowers/fruits are different, it could be an ash (but they're trees), a butterfly bush (but the color and texture of the leaves is wrong), or something else I'm not thinking of.

If it's still a mystery when it flowers, post again, and it should be a cinch to identify.

Thank you for answering me....my neighbor said that Hispanics make some kind of medicine from the flowers or seeds or something, but couldn't remember the name of it, so maybe it is indeed a Mexican Elder....I'm gonna look it up....

Yeah, it does sound like an Elder, as the flowers and berries are used extensively in many cultures. In fact, one of tbe best homeopathic immune-boosters is elderberries in some form.

I'm sure you'll find info on it's care if you research it... but all Elders are tough plants that can grow rapidly with some water. In nature they grow in moist soil, but the Mexican Elder appears to deal with drought too...
