Hi Guys! Don't be scared by my zone! My brother lives in Phoenix, and I want to get him a bougainvillea for his new house. Is there an online site that has amazing colors/plants? Thanks in advance!

How about sending him a money order and let him have his way at the nursery. Just a thought!

If you read the postings on the Arizona gardening site several good local nurseries are mentioned. I am sure if you called, they offer gift certificates that would answer your need.

To answer your question, YES!!! Bougainvillea has a beautiful vibrant color, and the fuscia is the color that does the best in the Phoenix area.

Bougainvillea is beautiful, but in my opinion, it looks best when only one color is planted. There is an apartment complex near me that planted every color they could find along their back wall. It's too much colors & one would have looked better.
