Hello,
We just bought a home and I really don't know much about plant life. Ther are about 5 trees that I would like info on. I believe there are either Palo Verde or Mesquite. But I don't know the difference. Also people are telling me to get rid of the Palo Verdes, they are newley planted. Are they a bad tree to have? Why?
Thanks

| I'm not sure what part of the Southwest you live in, but don't get rid of the Palo Verdes! I moved into a new house last August here in Arizona. The builder planted a palo verde in the front yard and it's one of my favorite trees. It has the wonderful green bark, and the trunk and branches are very sculptural. Mine is currently blooming some awesome yellow flowers. Around Tucson, they're all full of yellow blossoms. Really pretty. |
