What's your soil temp. and what type of soil do you have? It might not be hot enough, it's just barely warm enough here in the southern part of NM.
Where in Alb. are you? East Mesa? Westside? or?

Moonflowers relish heat. More heat, the better. Your night temps are pretty low for these seeds. They grew like crazy in coastal GA, as they had humidity and the night temps were quite warm. They might not like alkaline soil. Nip the ends of the the very hard seeds with a nail clipper, and soak overnight. Cover the improved planting area with something like cotton burr compost? Anything...to help acidify where you planted them? Think of them as a tropical vine...not a desert Salty Dog?

My tried and true method for sprouting moonflower seeds:

I soak a paper towel with water then lay it out flat on the counter. I place the seeds about one inch away from eachother. Fold over the paper towel to sandwich in the seeds and then place it into a sealed plastic bag. It generally takes about 5 days or so (although I do check daily) for the sprouts to appear. (I leave the bag on the counter, out of the sun).

Most of the seeds sprout and I have wonderful vines (much to my husband's chagrin - he's about "had it" with my vines!)
