Is anyone succefully growing a silver leafed large lavender?

I have a huge strip to plant and wanted to do it in goodwin creek lavender, but I learned that it does not reliably grow to more then a foot in height. For this strip, I wanted it to be at least 2 and better yet 3 ft in height..... any suggestions? It would have to do really good out here otherwise I would only plant a few instead of doing an entire strip this way....

L. stoechas gets about 2 ' for me. So does L. augustifolia, or some of their varieties. L. grosso nd L provinciale gets large. My spelling is unchecked here and probably wrong.
