Juniper Bush Removal

| Hi. I have 11 or 12 juniper bushes in front of my house. They are in a semi-raised bed on a steep hill and I think the roots go very very deep. I'd love to remove them and replace them with drought tolerant dwarf trees. I don't know how to begin because the dirt is extremely dry and rocky. Any suggestions on the most productive method? |

| Some junipers (Mountain ashe Juniper, One can kill by just lopping off the Tree by cutting below the lowest branch or below the Growth plate. But other Junipers need to be poisoned or dug ALL the way up because they will grow back from the roots. So one must know which species off the juniper and how it acts. I am only familiar with some of the native junipers of Texas Red Berry Juniper grows back from the roots. I only have the easy one on my land. |
