Fuyu Persimmons

We had a fairly cold and wet winter in California this year and I had a lot of flowers on our two Fuyu trees and was hoping for a good crop of fruit.

A few days ago I checked and found that all the flower buds had dried up totaly. The trees look very healthy otherwise, what could be the problem

RE: Fuyu Persimmons

Hi there,

How old is your tree? I just planted mine here in Tucson and I had the same issue. But I am not stressing out on it since it isn't even a year old yet....however, the tree looks great and I do have some fruit forming. I have never heard of this fruit before nor tasted it so I look forward to seeing what it will do. It's a very attractive looking tree:)
