Transplated from Virginia, and have my first raised beds here in the NE Albuquerque area. Everything is coming up beautifully - from the herb garden to the usual garden plants; tomatoes, tomatillo, eggplant, a variety of hot peppers, squash, peas, beans, salad stuff, etc... already planning to expand for next year (3 8x4 beds, plus herb bed - looking to have at the least 8 beds total, as we have an upper terrace that could handle that and more) I think it may be too late to even think about growing corn this season, but would like to hear from experienced ALB. growers conerning planting time, and best varieties for this area. Also plot size for a good harvest.
