I have noticed some weird mushroom look things in my flower beds. The are not on the plants but on top of the mulch near the plants. I thought it was a mushroom...when I touched it the object crumbled and a black powder puffed out everywhere...these things are sporatic through the graden and Shrub beds. I found some on one shrub...but all the rest is on the ground. When spraying water on it the same thing happens....puff of black pwder and it washes away. Seems almost water repellent though. ANy ideas what this is? Thanks FOR ANY AND ALL HELP!
