Blue Agapanthus flowers are spent

I'm not sure which varieties of agapanthus I have, but it's blue and the stalk is tall. I planted these in April and they have bloomed and looked great until recently. On two of the plants, I not only got the blue flowers, but I also got a stalk of white flowers. I also have two plants that I think are the dwarf ones (peter pan).

When the flowers are starting to look ratty do I cut the stalk down or what? Do I just take out the dead flowers and leave the stalk? Is it normal for them to finish blooming already? Will they bloom again this year? I think they are getting enough water; drip system every other day for an hour.

Sorry so many questions. Thanks.

Em..... I can only imagine the lovely flowers since I have not seen the dwarf varieties myself.

You may choose to leave the flower stock if the seeds are desired but I am not certain most
seedling will produce true to type. This lily clump multiplies rapidly in nature anyway so why
bother with seeds.

I would cut the flowering stock close to ground level. Often plants pick up a bust of energy
and perform best this way.
