Shasta Daisy health

I have great shasta daisy's....were doing great, then all of a sudden the leaves started turning a weak greenish color....spread to all beds....I sprayed them with a fungicide....didn't help...cut them back to the ground...they started comming back and then it came a big rain...and most of them died....We have had a lot of rain and high humidity...I could use some advice ......

I'm wondering, based on your description of the foilage as as a weak greenish color, if you didn't have iron chlorosis. It's possible you also kept them too wet - that can cause foilage to yellow. When you pull them up it'll help to look at the roots and soil to see if the roots are mushy or there's a fungusy smell to the soil.
