Help! with Pink Blooming Jade

Posted by gardenqueenaz arizona (My Page) on

I bought a beautiful Pink Blooming Jade last Christmas and it was doing great until recently. I transplanted it to a larger pot and I keep it outside on a covered patio but in the last couple of weeks the petals are dropping off and a branch broke off and it feels spongy like it has to much water. I water it once a week so maybe I am overwatering? or maybe it is just to darn hot for it outside? I brought it into the house tonight and I am not sure if that is the best for this plant. It is beautiful when it blooms.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank-you

RE: Help! with Pink Blooming Jade

My bet is that you've overwatered your jade. The soil needs to dry out between waterings. How's it doing by now?
