My front yard is entirely xeriscape. The Yarrow has become a giant, 4 - 5' high and wide, they continue to get larger and are taking over the garden. Five need to be moved to another location. I did transplant 3 last year, but only one barely survived. Obviously doing something wrong. Can this be done? What is the right way and when can it be done?

Also, the paprika yarrow bloomed a very faded color. I dislike it and wondering if getting the deep red color back is possible. Or is this their norm?

The rest of my garden is wonderful. Located in Colorado Springs.
