What kind of insect eggs or disease is this?

I woke up this morning to find these little white patches on 1 of my tomato plants. There are 3 clusters. One cluster s on a stem. Two clusters are on the back of a leaf. They are tiny, maybe 2 mm x 1 cm in size, with a ton of little white lines. Are these eggs of some kind? Beneficial or not? Thanks in advance!
